Shana Quinn has it tough. She’s a
petite woman trying to make it in a man’s world. When she goes for
an interview at Renault Industries she knows that she’ll have to
work extra hard to get the job. She does just that and things are
going well after she gets off door duty. Until she mistakes David
Renault for a burglar, and tackles him.
Royce Renault, the owner of Renault
Industries, soon figures out that his brother is having problems.
David has a gambling problem and has borrowed money from a loan
shark, who tells him that if he steals information from a top-secret
government project, then all his problems will be solved. For extra
incentive, the shark is holding David’s daughter for ransom.
To help solve the problem, Royce
hires Shana as a private investigator to get to the bottom of
things. Shana is thrilled at the chance to prove her skills. She
works hard to get to the bottom of things. But one of the major
problems that she faces is the growing attraction between herself
and Royce, something that she feels she doesn’t have time for.
Spitfire
is a wild ride of a romantic suspense story. The action doesn’t
stop as Shana faces dangers from breaking up fights to explosions.
Harley-riding Royce is always there to help, which really spices
things up. I thoroughly enjoyed this tale. Royce is a sexy CEO and
Shana is just what the title suggests, a spitfire.
Lovers of romantic suspense will
take great pleasure in Spirfire.
