James Darby
may have left London to avoid the matchmakers of the ton, but being
at his brother’s home left much to be desired. He missed his club,
the theater and the other exciting entertainment in London that was
decisively missing here…until he encounters the lovely Sara Hughes.
She is the one attraction that is enough to make him stop longing
for London. She is also someone who he quickly realizes can make
marriage sound like an admirable option.
With the
beginning of In Silhouette, there is good character
development in the introduction of the hero. Then the hero meets
the heroine, then it felt as if the word count for this short story
was met, so the story abruptly ends. I was actually enjoying the
characters and their interaction until that point.
