For Lucy Donovan, her work is her life. Unfortunately, the cost of that may be her life. Lucy is a CIA agent. After seeing her friends killed, she leaps headlong into danger on each case, trying to escape feeling guilty for surviving.  Gus Atwater is a Navy SEAL and Lucy’s ex-boyfriend. Eight years ago, Lucy left Gus when she decided to care only about her career. Gus never stopped loving Lucy and after rescuing her on a mission, he realizes he never will. Their next mission sends them deep into the jungle together in an attempt to save two CIA hostages. Lucy’s stubbornness is proving just as tough to break as the secret location of the camp where the hostages are being held. With no one to trust but each other, Lucy and Gus are on their hardest mission yet.

Along with non-stop excitement and heart pounding danger, Show No Fear has a tumultuous and sincere romance. Lucy is incredibly tough and Gus is fearless, intelligent, and capable. From their time in the jungle, to the SEAL’s operations, to the government and guerrillas actions, Marliss Melton pens the realism flawlessly. Between dodging bullets and malaria, Lucy and Gus face their feelings for each other. Their few sensual moments blend perfectly in the story creating intimacy between them in a terrifying environment. Show No Fear is gripping and intense from first page to last!
