Josh has been hiding from the Agency since he ran away from Kir, at the end of last summer.  Now an agency contact has come searching for Josh asking him to get in touch with Kir and warn him about an agent they have sent after him.  Josh is uncertain that getting close to Kir again is the wisest course of action, but he sees no other way to protect Kir from this new threat.  But how can Josh protect Kir from the treat that Josh himself presents?

Kir has been working to slowly discredit the Agency, while thinking about Josh and his abrupt disappearance last summer.  Kir day-dreams about him and misses Josh terribly.  Kir, in his loneliness has allowed a stranger to get closer than he should only because he resembles Josh.  Kir has no idea what danger he has put himself in, but when Josh rescues him, Kir is really shocked.  Now that Josh is here Kir can finally get his questions answered.  However, they must remain under the radar while Josh and Kir work to bring the Agency down.  Will they survive to accomplish the Agencyís destruction, or will they be destroyed themselves?

Minder concludes the series in an amazing finale.  Here we continue Josh and Kirís story and their struggle against the Agency and to build a real relationship.  Joely Skye wrote a great book, where we see Josh and Kir finally come into their own.  The plot is fantastic and I can say that while the ending was expected, there were surprises that made things interesting. Minder goes from amusing to chilling to sensual in ways that seize your attention and pull you along for the emotional journey the characters make.  If you have read the previous books in the series this book has to be in your To-Be-Read pile.  Pick up Minder the next time you go shopping you wonít be let down!

Note that this is the third book of the series and while it can be read as a stand alone, you might miss some important references and plot points if you havenít read the first two books in the series: Monster and Zombie.
