Scott and Chris have been lovers a long
time. While they have their ups and downs, they love each
other and are as solid as a rock. Enter Caleb. He’s friends
with Scott and Chris’ friend Jason. When the three of them
meet they hit it off and start spending a lot of time
together. Caleb is attracted to both Chris and Scott, and
tension is starting to build between them, then Scott and
Chris let Caleb know they’re attracted to him too. Their
unconventional relationship won’t be easy, but nothing
worthwhile ever is.
The Strongest Shape is one of the best stories
I have read all year. It has outstanding characterization, a
realistic storyline, and three amazing guys. (Who have
incredibly hot sex.) Scott and Chris’ relationship is very
strong, and I wondered and worried if Caleb would be a third
wheel, but he quickly becomes a part of them, and then they
become three. At one point, Scott sends Caleb a surprise
while Caleb is in New York, alone. It took my breath away.
Literally. It’s simply a perfect moment. The Strongest
Shape is so much more than an erotic ménage. It’s
fun, achingly tender, full of angst, and extremely well
written. Chris’ possessiveness is very sexy. It comes from
his deep love for his men. Scott’s level headedness is what
they need when emotions run high, and Caleb balances them
all out. He’s the glue that holds them together. Scott,
Chris, and Caleb fit like pieces of a puzzle. Their
relationship is perfect. There were times I laughed with
them and times I cried with them, and by the end, I fell in
love with them. |
