Six months
later, Ali Hernandez is still smarting over her break up
with Jonas Lennox. So what if she’s always been a good
girl? He never gave her a fair chance and just wrote her
off as an uptight goody-two-shoes. Loving him with
everything she had and then some, Ali was willing to take
things to the next level. Jonas felt like he couldn’t be
what she wanted and deserved.
The last
thing she expects is to run into him at a mutual friend’s
birthday party. When Ali challenged to participate in a wet
T-shirt contest, Jonas is livid and intent on teaching her a
much needed lesson. Ali brings out all his Alpha male
protective and possessive instincts. From this point on,
there’s no going back for either of them.
I want to
underline the fact that I truly love the cover of
Soaked. It’s perfection. Now, moving on to the
story; ingenuous, hotter than the devil’s Jacuzzi in Hades,
and a boiling 10+ for sheer originality, I had to place this
wicked novella on The List. You’ve got a well-endowed
feisty virgin who’s adorable and an overprotective
freak-nasty bad boy, then throw in the fact this pair have
libidos the size of Mt. Everest and it’s “Go!”. This story
doesn’t slow down until we reach the finish line. I honestly
don’t know who turned who out before it was all said and
done. The best part was getting started and once it got
going, it was win-win-win.
Although
He’s So Shy is the prelude to Soaked, this
installment can be read as a stand-alone. However, I
guarantee that you’ll double back (like me) to catch the
prequel to this racy, raunchy, downright lusty sequel that
will burn your underwear off—if you’re still wearing them. |
