Cruising
an x-rated bookstore, true love was not what Shawn Delaney
was looking for, what he wanted didn’t even require the
exchange of names. When he met Marc Wright, Shawn found
himself doing a lot of things he didn’t plan on doing. What
was supposed to be a quickie became much more when he agreed
to meet Marc again.
A man
not looking for a relationship soon found himself falling in
love, but suspicious began to build for Shawn when Marc job
keeps their time limited to only the weekends and he finds
evidence indicating Marc hasn’t been very truthfully with
him about his life. Hurt and confused Shawn seeks to find
out what Marc has been hiding from him, but will their knew
relationship be strong enough to survive the extent of
Marc’s betrayal?
Shawn’s
hurt was very much felt in the throughout the pages of this
story. I understood Marc’s reasons for keeping his silence
on such an important matter, but he should have had more
faith in Shawn especially when his feeling for him started
to grow stronger. As much as I liked Marc, his building a
relationship based on lies was an awful thing for him to do
to Shawn. I especially felt for Shawn because falling for
Marc was the last thing he wanted but Marc found a way into
his heart. As with any good romance story Furtive
Liaison had a great outcome, but getting there took
a lot of love and understanding. I enjoyed Furtive
Liaison and I’m certain many other readers will love
it just as much as I did. |
