Roxanna Mitchell was kidnapped by a man claiming to be her husband, but she knows the woman in the mirror would never marry that monster. Roxanna knows that God knows her name but before now she had always been a loner and had nothing to prove she wasn’t the mentally ill wife of the rich mad man.

Dr. William McCoy has had his share of trouble.  He was now near the end of a six-month medical license suspension and wanted nothing more than to work with Dr. Bennett in his small medical practice.  When William is called to check on Roxanna he never guessed that she would need his help.  Will he be able to let go of the past and trust Roxanna despite the evidence against her?

Through a Glass Darkly gripped me from the start.  Watching each of the characters come to terms with who Roxanna really is was a treat.  You can see their hurts ruling the decisions they make.  Hopefully this is not the last book by Anna Taylor, she did a wonderful job.
