Brody Carter is a Bloodrunner. The Bloodrunners are half human-half werewolf. They fight rogue werewolves who prey on humans.  Michaela Doucet is human, although she does possess some unique abilities. Brody has been intensely attracted to Michaela since the first time he saw her at his friend Mason’s wedding a few weeks ago, but Brody won’t allow himself to get close to her. Brody is convinced that he’s not good enough to kiss the ground Michaela walks on, never mind tell her how he feels about her, but Michaela disagrees. She feels the pull, too, and she sees the pain Brody is in, but he won’t let her close enough to see what’s wrong. Michaela has become a target for the rogue werewolves, so Brody is protecting her. They are together all the time. Michaela reaches out to Brody, but Brody keeps pushing her away. While Brody fights his attraction to Michaela, he and the Bloodrunners continue their hunt for the rogues responsible for killing innocent women. They and their leader must be stopped once and for all before they can carry out their evil plans to destroy the Bloodrunners and anyone who is on their side. 

Everything comes together in Last Wolf Watching. All of the action, drama, and excitement in the previous Bloodrunners stories continue in Last Wolf Watching to create another riveting story. Brody is a brooding, scarred hero with a tender heart.  Michaela is beautiful, sensual, and very sweet. They’re perfect together. Brody and Michaela make the book for me. I love them. And the sex is HOT.  Last Wolf Watching is my favorite of the Bloodrunners stories -so far!
