Beautiful Girl is a very touching and heart wrenching story.  Shiloh Walker took a hard subject and tackled it to perfection.  Ms. Walker hints from the beginning about what went on in Del’s past, but she left it open enough that I wasn’t quite sure.  Once it was revealed I didn’t want to believe it.  I was right there with Del.  She also threw a small surprise my way towards the end and I like it when I can’t figure something out right away!  Ms. Walker has a way with characters that I have rarely seen.  She pulled me into the story and I love it when an author can do that.  As for Ms. Walker, she put me smack dab in the middle of the emotions and that is why I am Joyfully Recommending Beautiful Girl.
