Del Prescott is back in town and she is not the girl she once was.  Del has some unfinished business in town and isn’t going to leave until she can put the past to rest.

Blake Mitchell has done some changing of his own over the years.  One summer Del just disappeared out of Blake’s life never to be heard from again.  Now she’s back and Blake realizes his feelings for her haven’t changed over the years.

Can the old flame between Del and Blake be rekindled?  Can Del get over her past to love Blake again?  Can Blake overcome Del’s dark secrets?

Beautiful Girl is a very touching and heart wrenching story.  Shiloh Walker took a hard subject and tackled it to perfection.  Ms. Walker hints from the beginning about what went on in Del’s past, but she left it open enough that I wasn’t quite sure.  Once it was revealed I didn’t want to believe it.  I was right there with Del.  She also threw a small surprise my way towards the end and I like it when I can’t figure something out right away!  Ms. Walker has a way with characters that I have rarely seen.  She pulled me into the story and I love it when an author can do that.  As for Ms. Walker, she put me smack dab in the middle of the emotions and that is why I am Joyfully Recommending Beautiful Girl
