Phury’s devotion to the Black Dagger
Brotherhood moved him to commit himself as Primale to the
Chosen. As Primale he is responsible for fathering sons and
daughters on the Chosen so that his race will remain strong
and survive.
Chosen Cormia, Phury’s first mate wants
what her vows strictly forbid her from having. Cormia wants
Phury all to herself. She wants him body and soul. Although
Phury has never allowed himself to come first, his desire for
Cormia will force him to decide between his responsibility to
his race and his own heart’s desire.
After finishing Lover Enshrined
I had one immediate thought, mainstream fiction. Yes, there
is still the romantic element in Lover Enshrined,
however, it is secondary to the story. Trust me, it’s totally
ok. The story doesn’t even need romance to keep me
enthralled.
J.R. Ward addresses some tough issues in
this volume of the Black Dagger Brotherhood, which makes
Lover Enshrined a gritty, visceral and emotional
novel which I Joyfully Recommend. I absolutely loved every
page and am a slavering idiot for more! |
