Catalina and Dave Robinson are newlyweds;
they have been married only a matter of hours. Dave’s best
friend and the best man in the wedding, Andreas Bailey is
flying them in his plane to their honeymoon destination in
Barbados. Flying over the ocean, something happens to the
plane and the unthinkable happens and they have to make an
emergency landing on an uninhabited island.
While this is not the honeymoon Cat and
Dave envisioned, they are happy and thankful that they and
Andreas are alive. The trio does their best to keep their
hopes up that they will be rescued. At the urging of Andreas,
Dave and Cat celebrate their wedding night alone but while
together they both notice something very arousing -- Andreas
is watching them make love. The next morning Dave and Cat
discuss Andreas and his part in their lives.
Talk about Caribbean heat! Dawn Halliday
is now solely responsible for my air conditioning bill!
Looking on her website, it appears that Honeymoon
Castaways is her first release. If that is the case,
then I can’t wait to see future novels. The characters flowed
well together, the sex was steamy, and the emotional ties
between the characters were apparent between the trio. Dave
and Cat’s love for each other was strong, passionate, and it
was obvious they were loyal to each other. When Andreas was
added into the equation that was Dave and Cat, the heat rose
at least 20 degrees.
Honeymoon Castaways was my
idea of a perfect ménage. There was nothing about this novel
that I didn’t like. Well, other than the fact that it made me
sweat. Ms. Halliday gets two thumbs up Honeymoon
Castaways and I have to Joyfully Recommend it as
well. It was just that impressively awesome. |
