When Assistant District Attorney
Susannah Vartanian comes home to Georgia for her parent’s
funeral, her past comes back to haunt her, exposing secrets
she prayed would remain hidden. Susannah’s brother Daniel is
Luke Papadopoulos' temporary partner and best friend. Daniel
and Luke are trying to put to rest a case where thirteen
women were raped. To save five young girls who have been
kidnapped and are suffering unimaginable horrors, Susannah
faces her past head on. Luke is by her side, trying to keep
her safe and save the girls while a madman bides his time
until he can finally make Susannah his.
The unimaginable crimes in Kill For Me make
for a horrific reality but a riveting and fascinating story.
With an intricate web of suspense and evil, Karen Rose kept
me on edge from first page to last. Kill For Me
is a remarkable book. On one hand the villains serve a hard
pill to swallow at times but on the other, the hero and
heroine give a poignant and beautiful performance. Susannah
is vulnerable and lost, and Luke is her knight in shining
armor. When she confesses her soul to him, tells him things
she never told anyone and he responds the way he does, I was
convinced that no two people were ever meant to be together
more. Karen Rose has become my favorite romantic suspense
author. Kill For Me is exactly the kind of
book I love to read. It’s twisted, suspenseful, sensual, and
romantic. On a side note, Die For Me is the beginning
of this story. Scream For Me is next and Kill
For Me picks up where Scream For Me Left off.
You do not have to read each book but the stories are that
much better when you do. |
