Arden Black is an assassin sent to take the life of Sevastien Aniketos.  It might prove more difficult than Arden anticipates when her assignment won’t stay dead.  Aniketos has plans of his own and they include the lovely Arden.  The trap is set, but who will emerge the victor?

Dark, deep, emotional, raw, deadly—those are just a few words to describe the wonderful novel that is Like a Thief in the Night.  Bettie Sharpe wrapped her words around me and sucked me right into the story.  Her emotions leapt off the pages and forced my attention on Arden and Aniketos and I didn’t want to be anywhere else.  The pair is well matched and it makes the sex scenes so rough and raw I almost felt like a voyeur looking in on this twisted fairytale.  Like a Thief in the Night is so wonderful that I am Joyfully Recommending it.  I will be on the watch for more of Ms. Sharpe’s novels because I think she is going to be a force to be reckoned with.
