Pleasure Unbound took me on a rip-roaring ride through every emotion I have.  Larissa Ione takes a dark world and spins it around until you don’t know which way is up and which is down.  Pleasure Unbound reminds me so much of my favorite show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  Ms. Ione’s writing style reminds me of Joss Whedon and the fun I had watching his work, but Ms. Ione takes it one step further in the rich wonderful world she created for Pleasure Unbound.  Her characters come to life and jump right off the pages making me wish the hunky doctor, Eidolon would work his magic on me.  Ms. Ione made me believe that somewhere out there a demon hospital is waiting to help demons in need.  I was unsure at first how she would be able to make a demon hospital work when the demons fight each other, but her world is so rich with the rules clearly spelled out that it takes you away and makes you believe. 

Tayla broke my heart with everything she has gone through and everything waiting for her.  Ms. Ione turned her world upside down, but it was worth it in the end.  Eidolon is so noble and strong and just what Tayla needs.  The two together are explosive and hot.  Eidolon’s brothers, Shade and Wraith are dark and intriguing.  I can’t wait for their stories.

Pleasure Unbound is sexy, dark and emotion filled and that is why I am Joyfully Recommending everyone go out and buy a copy, today.  I can’t wait for the next books and hope Ms. Ione doesn’t stop with three books.  The world of Pleasure Unbound is too rich and full to stop at three.
