Larue Donavan runs her bookstore by day
and hunts ghosts by night. She hunts ghosts for one very
good reason—they talk to her. She wants to help them move on
but sometimes they hang around. For some reason Abraham
Lincoln has latched onto her. And he is only the first. It
puts a real kink in Larue’s potential social life.
And that potential is right next door
in the form of Callahan Weiss, coffee shop owner. Not only
do the ghosts encourage her to pursue Callahan but Larue’s
best friend, Mindy, practically pushes her into his arms.
And it is clear that Callahan is interested when he comes to
her store and asks her out. Maybe her love life is about to
take off.
Larue and Callahan’s blooming
relationship is threatened by a rival who will do whatever
she can to get what she wants. Brianna wants Callahan and
makes no secret of it. Is she behind the accidents that have
been happening to Larue and Callahan’s strange behavior?
There is something very off about the atmosphere in town
lately. Mindy suspects Brianna of using witchcraft to get
what she wants.
Now all Larue has to do is break a love
spell and convince four ghosts to cross over. Easy? Sure it
is.
From the first sentence, “Dead people won’t leave me alone”,
to the end of the last chapter, Me and My Ghoulfriends
keeps your attention. The plot is complex and is why I kept
reading. I wanted to see what was going to happen next. My
favorite characters and the fun part are the ghosts. Who
knew Abe Lincoln had such a sense of humor? You need to read
and see the fun for yourself. |
