Oliver Philip has been happy with his
two shapeshifter lovers, twins Bayard and Marshall Stoddard,
for several months, but all isn’t perfect. Oliver knows
their relationship wouldn’t be accepted by society.
Something is up with Marsh as well. Can Bay and Marsh
convince him what society thinks doesn’t matter, and secure
a happy ending for them all?
Taste Test is a quick,
hot read that manages to pack a surprising amount of
emotion. Oliver is still insecure and uncertain, even after
months with the sexy Stoddard twins. When he unexpectedly
gets off work early, Bay and Marsh plan a fun and sexy day
together. The love scenes are very hot. I admit I would
have liked to see the twins touching each other a bit, but
on the bright side readers who are squicked by twincest
probably won’t be bothered by Taste Test. The
characters are all likeable. Jade Buchanan does a good job
of weaving some conflict and emotion into what is
essentially a long, hot scene. If you’re in the mood for a
fast, spicy read with paranormal elements and twins, you
can’t go wrong with Taste Test.
*Note: I’d advise reading A Tail of Two Brothers
first, because it details the beginning of Oliver, Bayard,
and Marshall’s relationship. |
