Samantha Rutledge has no complaints.
Working as a private investigator is what she enjoys, and
her family completes her. Samantha meets Callum MacLennon
at a reception, and instantly sparks fly and pheromones are
released. Before the night is over, Samantha has given in
to her inner wolf and had the sexual experience of a
lifetime. Lucky for her Callum is leaving for Australia so
there will be no recriminations and no regrets. Months later
when Callum returns, Samantha and he are thrown together
over an investigation. Two cubs are missing and behind the
scenes, Callum is a suspect.
Oh my! Twin Temptations starts
out with a bang and doesn’t let up for the rest of the
novel. Samantha was a free spirit who had no plans of being
tied down, and while she enjoyed sex as much as the next
girl, she didn’t envision settling down to a blissful mating
anytime soon. Callum soon changed her mind and while he was
gone, she couldn’t stop thinking about him.
I love how the storyline involved
Callum being a suspect for the crime Samantha was
investigating. His suspicion of wrongdoing made me squirm,
and more than once found myself hoping and praying for the
best.
I have yet to read an Elizabeth
Lapthorne werewolf release that I haven’t devoured in one
sitting. and Twin Temptations was no
different. Passionate, emotional, and just plain good,
Twin Temptations is a keeper for sure! |
