It’s been several months since Kassidy broke up with her ex.   Since then, she’s been having a steamy online relationship with Jake.   He’s managed to light a fire within her but she’s playing it careful.  What takes her over the edge is that Kassidy has never been able to turn down a dare.  So when Jake dares her to meet him to consummate their fantasies, she’s tempted.  Her office pal Nick eggs her on by challenging her to meet Jake—daring her.   Kassidy caves despite her growing sexual and emotional attraction for Nick. 

Reading Marilyn Lee challenges me to explore the darker side of love and passion in fiction.   I never know what to expect whenever I read her visually and verbally erotic work.   There’s always a big surprise somewhere to make you say, “Hmmm”, and with that said, I refuse to give anything else away. 

The Dare demonstrates the need and desire to open up to the wild side that we sometimes shy away from.  Kassidy finds that special person to take her by the hand, and lovingly guide her to that place by fulfilling her every wanton desire.   It takes the reader on that same journey without leaving the computer screen, except by imagination, which makes reading this story a definite must.
