Nioral is the last of his dragon kind,
the Lynial brood, though he is now a healer dragon for the
Kilsh brood. Knowing that there is little chance he will
ever know the love or desire of a mate is a bit of a
daunting task. Especially as the strongest medicine that
can be produced contains evidence of a female’s desire. So
he knows that while the women he beds feel immense pleasure
he is just going through the motions. That is until one day
when he helps save an adder snake from some hooligans and
the King of Snakes. More amazing is that Merigone seems to
be not only his mate but human. What is a dragon to do? He
can’t reveal his secret to her (that he can shift into human
form), and he knows he can’t forsake his dragon side
either. Will he forsake his greatest passion and wish for
his brethren? Will he be able to rescue Merigone from
death and other nefarious plots if he is not a dragon?
I have mixed feelings about
Nioral's Quest. I was initially annoyed with the
premise that the dragon/man has to gather his medicine
through female pleasure. But, once I got beyond that
section (and my thoughts) I found the rest of the story to
be a heartfelt story about acceptance as well as a steaming
hot love story. You can’t go too wrong with a sexy dragon
who can shift into a man. So I recommend you give
Nioral's Quest a shot if you like the blurb. |
