Emma has been aboard The Pirate's
Maiden for three months, working as a stripper in one of the
bars offered by the cruise ship. It isn't much, but it's a
job and keeps her away from other werewolves, which is what
she wants. If it means she has no one to mate with and has
to run under the light of the moon where she can't be seen,
so be it. At least she gets to watch Durand Robyard perform
most nights. That is definitely a sight to see. Add in his
lover, Christopher, and Emma is definitely in erotic heaven.
Feral Voyeurism by Lacey
Savage is part of the Feral Heat Series, and while it can be
read as a stand alone, there were references to previous
characters and events that had me at times curious and
almost lost. I would have liked to have read the previous
books to know who Ms. Savage was referring to and why Emma
was in such straits.
I enjoyed the book, but am convinced I
would have felt more sympathy for Emma had I read more of
her story beforehand. I would have loved to find out more
about why Durand was on the ship as well. I found him to be
a big furry protective hulk of an alpha male that I wanted
to take home, and Chris the kind of male that I wanted to
protect and love the way he deserved. A fun story, but
better if read as part of the series. |
