Ceres is a Vampire and leader of the Maxis tribe.  She has been trying to entice her personal wolf guards Pascal and Noble, without success.  Pascal and Noble are fighting their attraction to Ceres because they don't want to cross the boundaries of their job.   They finally give in to temptation, but trouble is brewing.

I enjoyed Pascal and Noble's interaction.  They sniped at each other but with obvious affection, like brothers.  Ceres, I didn't like.  Her actions seemed selfish and irresponsible, especially in her capacity as tribal leader.  Carnal Obsession didn't work for me.
