Princess Katerina has a problem. Her
uncle is waiting around the corner to steal her kingdom due
to her unmarried status. So, in order to keep him at bay,
Katerina must wed and do it quickly. Hence the second
problem - there aren't that many men available, and Katerina
is getting desperate.
Dax is being forced to pretend to be a
duke to seduce Katerina in order to stop her from getting
married. He is very good at his pretense because his
courtship of Katerina is working. Enough is enough, however,
when Katerina’s life is threatened and someone tries to kill
her.
Brenda Williamson is one of my favorite
up and coming new authors. A Beautiful Surrender
pits Dax against Katerina. While each had an agenda, their
minds and bodies spoke a language of their very own and the
results were a magnificent afternoon read. If Katerina
hadn’t taken Dax, I was next in line! |
