Living in Johnstown, married to the local Blacksmith, Evelynn felt anything but happy.  She craved those times when she could steal a glance or sit at the table with her husbandís apprentice, Daniel.

Daniel made her want passion, yearn for a life filled with love.  Her husband, Brandt, ignored her and never showed her the emotion she needed from him.  How could she keep her thoughts from roaming to the handsome apprentice when he represented everything she ever dreamed of?

With the threat of the cityís dam bursting and her growing desire for Daniel, will Evelynn be able to escape it all and find love in Danielís arms?

Melting Iron is a fantastic story!  Wanting something and unable to reach it is a wonderful plot that many can sympathize with.  I was swept away by the strong emotions and well developed characters.  Melting Iron rocks!  Ann Cory has created another great story.
