Andrea is a
driven Ad-Executive working for a dinosaur of a boss. But,
she has goals and at the top of the list is to make partner
before she is 30. The rest of her dreams: children, marriage,
love and a home will all have to wait until after she makes
partner at the agency.
Brian is
another young hard working Ad-Executive, though he isn’t as
driven as Andrea. Matter of fact recently he has had thoughts
of settling down and starting a family, but he can’t seem to
find the right woman. Setting that aside his best-friend
Andrea seems to be working herself into an early grave and he
takes her out to have a relaxing evening. Now he is suddenly
drawn to her in ways that he has never been before. One night
of no holes bared sex will be just what he needs to get her
out of his system right?
Damage
Control is a fiery erotic romance about finding what
you really want, not what you think you want. Elisa Adams
does a wonderful job of setting the stage for a couple of
modern day workaholics who are best friends, that find more
than friendship. She does a wonderful job talking about the
“glass ceiling” as well as the drive to get ahead. I also had
to laugh about the “Bridezilla” sister; I could see her
rampaging through an old shanty town dressed in white, as a
“Godzilla” type creature. I found myself laughing out loud
and sniffing while reading Damage Control, which
in my mind is a good thing. |
