Tuesday nights
are Cameron Jacobs’ favorite nights at the restaurant he
waits tables in because those are the nights Julian Cross
dines there. After months of little to no conversation,
Julian finally makes some small talk. It opens the door for
Cameron and Julian to get to know each other. But Julian’s
secrets could put Cameron in danger, and Julian isn’t
willing to risk Cameron’s life. Cameron might take the
decision from him, though.
Julian is an
extremely enigmatic and reserved man. There is an intriguing
dichotomy between his soft spoken and gentle side as a
lover, and his ruthless and lethal professional side. They
are startling opposites. Cameron’s ordinariness is remarked
upon several times. It’s that quality that makes him so
perfect for Julian. His unassuming persona makes him a
perfect match for Julian’s unique and dangerous one. Their
seemingly impossible relationship is beautiful, yet
complicated. Warrior’s Cross is a suspenseful
and slow-paced story with plenty of drama. The romance is
breathtaking, and the action and suspense are intense. |
