Pregnant, betrayed and abandoned by family and friends,
Ashley Miller survived against all odds to graduate with
double majors in Architectural Design and Culinary Arts.
Shelving her dreams due to sudden responsibilities, Ashley
was not giving up on one day owning her own restaurant.
Merely existing, Nicholas Maxwell was a man haunted by the
ghosts of a tragedy that took a precious life; the only balm
to his soul was his growing Construction Company and family.
A new lease of life was injected into him the minute he met
the new architectural designer and her son.
Can their relationship remain intact with threats of secrets
hovering in the background and the past seeking to destroy
their burgeoning relationship?
Resemblance is a
story with surprises and unexpected turns. I liked that
Nicholas was man enough to step back, though reluctantly,
and let Ashley take care of her business that was suddenly
intruding into their lives. It was a great pleasure to take
the sensual journey with a great plot, which included
violence, betrayal and love. |
