Thomas Petrie’s first assignment as an FBI agent is far from the excitement he was looking for when he chose this career path.  Sitting in an isolated cabin babysitting a key witness in a mob case turned out to be more exciting and frightening than Thomas imagined, not because of the case but because of the man he was protecting and the feelings he was forcing Thomas to face.

Mario De Luca, former biker and crime boss pet, sees the true Thomas and much to Thomas dismay he is doing his best to bring him out.  Neither man knows how this case will end but one thing they know is the attraction between will not be denied.

Following along the lines of its prequel Melting Ice 2 is a fun and exciting read with a sexy but sexually inexperienced hero who finds himself attracted to the enemy.  What I loved about the heroes of this story is that even though they were on opposite sides of the law they both were men of integrity.  I also loved the strong passion and chemistry between them.  Even though the first book in this series is my favorite, Melting Ice 2 is a great follow-up.
