Lady Jasmina Karlyle is in a bit of a
bind. Between returning items stolen by her kleptomaniac
mother and dealing with her powers, sometimes things have
gone wrong. This is one of those times. With a simple
spell gone awry, Jasmina has made a duplicate of herself.
If that is not bad enough, Jasmina the second, nicknamed Jaz,
is the exact opposite of Jasmina. Jaz has no respectability
and when men begin talking to Jasmina as if they know her
intimately, she knows that something has to be done.
Sir Sterling doesn’t understand how Jaz
can act like she has no idea who he is. A stallion shifter,
his confusion over Jasmina/Jaz is apparent. It isn’t until
Jasmina convinces him of her witch status and the bogus
spell that things begin to clear up. When it is all said
and done, however, will Sterling love Jasmina or will the
rogue Jaz hold his heart?
Double Enchantment gave
me double the pleasure to read. Book two of Ms. Kennedy’s
Relics of Merlin series; the hero was a bit different than
your normal run of the mill shifter. He was a stallion
shifter and as such was powerful and beautifully erotic.
Jasmina’s troubles made me smile, except when she was being
accused of foul deeds, and I had no choice but to read
Double Enchantment cover to cover!
Highly entertaining, often times surreal, but most of all
totally enchanting, Double Enchantment is a
quaint, well-written read. Kathryne Kennedy is now on my
reviewer radar! |
