Being called to active duty, David, an Air Force pilot, faces an uncertain future.  Fighting for his country is something he’s ready to do, but leaving behind the people he loves is heartbreaking.  The night before he leaves he wants to show his wife Jade, his best friend Rachel and her husband Ian just how special they are too him. 

All three love David as much as he loves them, but do they love him enough to fulfill his fantasy?

A Farewell To Angels is heartwarming, heart wrenching and soul scorching.  The friendship, love and appreciation between this group of friends and lovers are beautiful.  I felt for Jade in having to let her husband go, but I felt more for Rachel.  Rachel and David’s friendship was a special one; she was going to miss David just as much as his wife, if not more.  Jade, Ian, Rachel and David’s one night together was hot, sexy and it felt right.  Even though I had mixed emotions about the ending of the story because of David’s deployment A Farewell To Angels as a whole was a beautiful story and very enjoyable.
