| Ellen is a young widow content with her mum and her
twenty-year-old daughter as family since her beloved husband’s
death. She is due at the airport to fly to England with Harry,
a gentleman friend and she hopes that the phone is about to
ring to delay her. She doesn’t want to go. She’s—let’s be
blunt— She’s afraid to go, to risk her heart again. But the
phone doesn’t ring and she reaches the airport on time. She
panics. To Love Again has caught exactly the
longing for and the fear of beginning a new relationship. Anne
Whitfield’s book is well written, and the heroine is well
rounded enough to be able to laugh at herself.
I enjoyed To Love Again and I’m sure you will
too. |
