Bounty hunter and werejaguar Antonio
Grant is on the lookout for a criminal. The trail leads him
to Still Waters, a resort owned by the Lassiter family. One
of the family members intrigues Antonio like no other - Jada.
Outstandingly independent and oftentimes stubborn, Jada also
happens to be his mate. Convincing her might take some time,
but Antonio is willing to wait. He has nothing but time until
the evil he is stalking seems to be the same evil hell bent on
making Jada’s life a living hell. Antonio wants Jada to trust
and believe in him, but past hurts interfere and he worries
that he will never convince her that he loves and cares for
her, and will keep her safe.
I loved this book. Shelli Stevens has
captured the essence of a woman scared to take a chance on a
man who she sees as having a dangerous job. Honesty is
important to Jada and she doesn’t trust lightly. However,
once she trusts, she is loyal to the bone. Antonio was sexy
personified and more than once I just sat in awe at his
ability to love Jada.
Dating Season was delightful. I shivered
in anticipation of the love scenes, and sat on the edge of my
seat when it was time for the antagonist to make an
appearance. Shelli Stevens gets a thumbs up for this one! |
