Valentino and Faith have been lovers for months.  Each time they come together sexually the sparks fly and they seem to ignite.  Valentino has never mentioned love or commitment to Faith.  He likes their relationship just the way it is.  But then his beautiful mistress is climbing his defenses and tearing them down one by one. And then Valentino finds out she is pregnant. 

I don’t think anyone can write a surprise baby story quite like Lucy Monroe.  She takes base emotions and is able to bring the reader into her stories.  I found myself irritated at Valentino but then I would get upset with Faith.  I could see and feel the love they had for the other and that is why this was such a great book.
