Former models Josh Amberley and Pete Dennison had a tumultuous relationship, at least until they called it quits for good.  When Josh doesn’t hear from Pete for a long time, however, he gets worried.  He comes home to horrible news—Pete was murdered a couple months before.  Grief-stricken, he returns to the home they used to share.  Something seems different, however…

This Time for Keeps is a romance with a paranormal twist.  I really felt for Josh after he learned of his longtime lover’s death.  Their relationship had been very up and down, but they loved each other.  He soon finds that Pete isn’t so far away after all.  I liked the storyline, but there just wasn’t enough time for character development.  Pete especially came across as rather two-dimensional.  This Time for Keeps is a nice quick read for paranormal lovers, but not as deep or emotional as I’d hoped it would be.
