World famous rock singer Tyler Curtis
is anything but the raunchy, rude, wild man the press makes
him out to be. Using Tyler’s naïveté, Tyler’s manager Frank
Brooks keeps Tyler under his thumb. Jordan Braxton is
coerced by his sister Becca, a die-hard Tyler Curtis fan, to
attend his concert. Becca wants to get in Tyler’s bed, but
it’s not Becca that Tyler is interested in. Things get
difficult as a whirlwind romance blooms between Tyler and
Jordan. Everyone wants a piece of Tyler Curtis and some will
stop at nothing to get it.
The beginning of The Curtis
Reincarnation is full of witty dialog and Jordan’s
endearing desire for a mate. I laughed out loud several
times. Then the story takes a turn. Tyler’s life unfolds
clearly on the pages. Life as a rock star is not all it’s
cracked up to be. Fame takes its toll, especially when
Tyler’s medical and personal issues are neglected. To say
that Tyler is innocent is almost an understatement. It’s
surprising and a little unrealistic. There is another turn
in the story at the end when the drama becomes heart
wrenching. It gave me the chills. As far as happily ever
after’s go, The Curtis Reincarnation has an
awesome one. The Curtis Reincarnation is a
story full of heart and emotion. |
