Brian Hawthorne knew he was at a
critical moment in his marriage. He and Casey had only been
married for six months, yet they had had a fight the
previous night that resulted in them both hurling hurtful
words at one another, and Brian stayed the night at a hotel.
Now here he was, hesitating on the
porch, with the one gift he hoped would salvage their
marriage.
When the World is Right
is a reflective story of a man very much in love with his
wife, and hoping they can work through their problems.
There is more introspection and flashbacks than interaction
between Brian and Casey, but given the length of the story,
it worked perfectly. |
