Shasta Brooks works for the bank and
for the last several years, has worked hard to go up the
corporate ladder. Here lately, Shasta has had one bright
spot in her day: when the sexy computer consultant would
come in and talk with her while doing his banking. Shasta
has flirted with him, but so far, she has not been able to
get a date. Dane Wingate looks forward to seeing Shasta
everyday. He would love to know her better, but he has a
couple of reasons for not asking her out.
It is Shasta’s birthday and her
co-workers have planned a party for her, together with a big
surprise. The sexy striper would be enough, but Shasta
recognizes Dane behind the mask. Shasta doesn’t give him
away, but she does have questions and only Dane can answer
them. When the party is over and everyone has left, will it
be the beginning of an even bigger present?
What do you do when your surprise stripper turns out to be
someone you not only know but also have wanted for months?
Shasta has to figure that out in Unexpected Encounter.
Dane is getting his fledgling computer-consulting firm up
and running, however, he has a secret that he does not want
out. Right from the beginning, I could tell that Dane and
Shasta was smoldering even while just seeing each other
across the bank teller’s counter. As I read on and found
out the reasons behind Dane’s actions, I was with Shasta in
wanting to help him. Don’t get me wrong; there is plenty
of sexy scenes and eroticism that kept me humming right
along. Unexpected Encounter is one of those
books that you just wish was a bit longer because you want
to know what happened next. |
