Raid
Tanner can tell you being a prophet is not all glitz and
glamour. The headaches, the nose bleeds, and knowing things
about people you really don’t want to know, all top the list
as to why he prefers to work with cars instead of using his
psychic abilities. As if that wasn’t enough, now Priest
comes along and wants Raid to help him destroy the human
race.
Priest
is one odd individual. Most people would run in the opposite
direction when meeting him, but Raid isn’t like most
people.
Prophet is a different kind of love story -- very,
very different. Raid gives true meaning to the phrase 'love
is blind.' This story definitely held my interest. I had to
know where this relationship was going and how Raid was
going to handle Priest wanting to destroy all humans. I
enjoyed it with all its strange happenings, but what I
really liked about it was Aunt Penny. If this were a movie,
she would have been a real scene-stealer. Readers looking
for an out-of-the-ordinary love story, even more so than the
typical shapeshifter stories, then Prophet is
a must read for you. Also be sure to see the illustration
of Raid and Priest in the back of the book. |
