Brynn has been invited to teach
Kindergarten at the Laurivenia Academy. What she doesn’t
know is that it doesn’t exist. Not only that, but she’s
really going to be a nanny to a five-year old girl. Kissing
good bye her plans to travel and see the country goodbye,
she also plans to say goodbye to the man who lured her here
under false pretenses. Until she meets his daughter. Once
she does, she knows that she cannot leave.
Lessons in Love is a sweet story that will
leave you with a warm, content feeling. Though it is not a
new idea or plot, the characters Kate Davies has created
will find a place in your heart. Even secondary characters
like Carissa and Niles will have you turning the pages. I
had hoped it wouldn’t read so predictably, and then the
characters would do something unexpected before reverting
back to what I did expect. It was nice to find a comfortable
read that threw a few surprises at me. Miss Davies has a way
with characters and if you take a chance on this story, I’m
sure you will understand what I mean. Realistic, believable,
and loveable, they are well rounded and fun. |
