Childhood sweethearts Marcus and Marly
have been married for only one year. Instead of basking in
the honeymoon phase of marriage, they are currently trying
to keep Marcus in one piece. Having literally taken a bite
out of her husband as her needs escalate to epic
proportions, Marly is basically experiencing a human version
of heat. Marcus loves his wife more than anything but he’s
only a man and he fears for his life as he tries to fulfill
Marly’s sensual needs. Marcus will just have to bring in
reinforcements as he and Marly look for clues as to why she
has suddenly taken on the mating habits of a feline.
Ouch is the first word that comes to mind when I think about
I Take Thee, I totally empathized with Marcus
as his willing, but unable body, tried to keep up with the
demands of his wife’s desires. In a story that basically
revolves around one thirst quenching sexual episode after
another I have to admit to being a little bit disenchanted.
I’m a big fan of Red Garnier’s work but this latest effort
didn’t seem to have any depth to it. I thought the actual
reasoning behind Marly’s erratic behavior was kind of rushed
through, and I would have loved to just experience more of
Marcus and Marly outside of their sexual encounters. With
that said, I understand the frequency was part of the plot
and just hope in the future the substance that I’ve come to
expect from Ms. Garnier’s work will continue to be evident. |
