Jake
believed in sex and mutual gratification not love, never
love. That’s what he told himself until the one person he
thought he would never see again moved back home. Jake’s
heart was broken and torn apart by Kane, he was Jake’s first
love and first everything. Now he’s back, the one person who
could penetrate the walls Jake built up and Jake don’t know
how to handle it.
Kane
never forgot about Jake. He’s very remorseful of his
actions that caused Jake so much hurt. He wants Jake back
in his life, but he knows that may never happen, but then
Kane’s son steps in to get the two moving in the right
direction.
Eye Candy is great! It’s a really good follow up to
Man Candy. I couldn’t blame Jake for not wanting to
trust in Kane again, he betrayed Jake in the worst way and
left him alone to face the ridicule and scorn of those who
believed the worst of him. Jake can not be faulted for only
caring about the here and now and leaving the love and
forever to others especially when Jimmy, a one night stand,
turns around and does the same thing Kane and his family did
to him years ago. Kane is very sorry for his impulsive
actions that caused Jake so much hurt, but in his defense
they were young and most of what happened was beyond Kane’s
control. I very much enjoyed Eye Candy and I
feel many others will too. |
