Tori
Russo’s life began when Victoria Valentino’s ended. Being
in the wrong place at the wrong time forced Victoria to lose
everything, her family, her identity and her fiancé, Brock.
Sadly it’s because of her fiancé and his illegal doings that
she is now living miles away from home in the Witness
Protection Program. Isolated from everything she knows, sad
and alone, Tori find herself relying on Walker Garrison, a
drifter to keep her safe.
Walker
has secrets of his own, and getting involved with Tori would
be an added complication, but from the moment they met she
became important to him. Can he trust her with his secrets
and will she ever trust him with hers?
Alone in Forrester Rock started off great, but
quickly started to lose me. I don’t know much about the
Witness Protection Program but the resolution for the
situation seemed too extreme to me. But looking past that
and with the introduction of Walker I was getting into the
story again. The mystery and suspense build up was good and
had me turning pages quickly to see what happens next, but
then I was let down again. Alone in Forrester Rock
had some good moments, but certain actions and events
leading up to the conclusion of the story left me confused
and with a lot of unanswered questions. |
