Christine Douglas is a young witch,
making a living with her small coffee shop. No seriously, she
really is a witch, born in a family of friendly witches and
warlocks. Her life is pretty normal. Well, except for the
part where she’s got a voyeuristic spirit lurking in her
apartment after hours.
Falcon Dragoon is a Sleeper. In fact,
the last time he awoke was 1200 years ago. He likes his life,
his loner existence, away from inane humans. He’s only
summoned by the Forces of Nature as a last line of defense
before something terrible happens. The only thing is, he
doesn’t know why he was roused from slumber and what it has to
do with that little slip of a witch, Christine.
I enjoyed Any Witch
Way Café. It’s a lighthearted romance with a charming
and spirited witch, and a gentle but dominant Sleeper. I
enjoyed Any Witch Way Café and the ending will
enchant those who enjoy reading paranormals. I look forward
to seeing where Ms. Foxx takes the story next in The Sleeper
series, book 2. |
