A victim of economic hard times, Logan Shoemaker fears he may not be able to keep his business afloat much longer.  As owner of the Shoemaker’s Magick Shoppe a metaphysical store, Logan never expected to get rich, but he did want to be able to pay his bills and live without fear of freezing to death or going hungry, but his sales have steadily been declining.  There was no one in his life, the store was all he had and things seemed to be going from bad to worse. Not knowing what else to do, Logan remembered his Aunt telling him that there was no shame in asking for help so Logan sent a plea for help to the divine love and wisdom of the universe.

After waking up from a night of ‘binge’ drinking Logan’s life was about to change. Not only did a divine entity answer his plea to save his shop but his unspoken plea of love was answered as well. Logan remembers making love to a mysterious stranger throughout the night that was too real to be a dream. But in the light of day will he know for sure who it was that saved his shop and stole his heart.

The Elf And Shoemaker is wonderful modern day fairy tale with a spicy twist. Logan is a great character who didn’t want much out of life, just to be happy with the shop he loves and to have someone to share it with.  Hallan was the individual to make everything Logan wanted a reality, but unfortunately they lived in different worlds - literally.  Hallan was an elf from a different realm, his own troubles and dilemma’s added to the fascination of The Elf And Shoemaker and had me anticipating how he and Logan were going to figure out how to be together.  Hallan and Logan’s romance is a magical experience and The Elf and Shoemaker is a story not to be missed.
