When Tess accepts the country rental her
boss offered her, she had no idea what she was in store for.
After taking a few weeks off from work to move, she realizes
there is much more to do then what she can handle on her own.
She’s heard there’s a particular man in the small town who
performs odd jobs for people and that he’s the one to go to
for the assistance she needs. Little does she know, that man
is Gabe Russell, the gorgeous cowboy who caught her eye in the
grocery store and happened to live in the farmhouse before
her.
Gabe has vowed to get his family farm
back. Due to the difficulties of taking care for an ailing
parent, he was unable to keep up on the mortgage and was
evicted from the only home he’d ever known. But when he finds
out that the new tenant is the stunning woman he spotted
downtown and that she’s also asking for his help with some
repairs, his plans suddenly change.
I thoroughly enjoyed Unfinished Dreams. It had me
on the edge of my seat from the moment I began reading it to
the moment I read the last word. The tension between Tess and
Gabe was extremely tangible and the secondary characters
really helped make the story spring to life for me. Very few
stories draw me in the way Unfinished Dreams
managed to. This was a truly
marvelous read. |
