Mark Hennessy loved playing baseball, but he knew it was time to find something different if his next game didn't end with positive results.  His family needed him and he was ready to get back to them, but his dream of moving to the big leagues kept him playing the game.  But now that his brother is in trouble, Mark makes one final attempt at his dream before giving it up for good.

Catherine Ramsey Hart can't believe her eyes when the man she vaguely remembers leaving the bar with shows up as a contender for the third base position on her team.  Can Mark show her that love can be real?

Apple Pie is truly all American!  Penny Dawn’s characters Mark and Catherine, both face hard decisions, yet once they meet its like their lives are on auto pilot and headed right towards each other.  I couldn’t put this one down until I knew how these two would find a balance in their lives.  When over at Amber Quill Press stop by Penny Dawn’s page and select Apple Pie!
