Luci Ferr is a normal twenty-something
year old. She is looking for a new job and hoping that she
might find a new boyfriend before Valentine’s Day. This is
looking very unlikely, as it’s only a couple days away.
Then her high school crush comes back into town looking
better than ever. Oh, Luci also has one tinier problem—at
the stroke of midnight on Valentine’s Day she is scheduled
to become the Antichrist.
Damien Whitely knows all about Luci’s
destiny but as someone who has wanted her for along time,
Damien isn’t going to let anyone or anything take over Luci.
He knows the one thing that can stop it, but the question is
will he be able to show Luci in time or will the cultists
destroy Luci before they have a chance at their long awaited
relationship?
Valentine’s Beast is a
peek into the life of the last person anyone would ever
expect to become the Antichrist. Luci just might finally
have a chance at the man of her dreams, if only the crazies
would stay away from her. Damien was raised knowing that he
might be the one to destroy the Antichrist—until it became
apparent that he would rather make love to her. Watching as
Luci’s life becomes like the Mad Hatter’s tea party kept me
turning pages. As I found out Damien’s past, I was unsure
if he would be her savior or terminator. With the end being
the beginning and the beginning the end, I saw as Luci and
Damien discovered the love that was kept from them.
Valentine’s Beast is an unusual thriller with a
punch of romance and forbidden love. |
