Her fate was drawn when Sydney drew The Emperor and The Lovers cards from her friend’s Tarot Cards reading. Unexpected trouble and romance came in the form of Trenton Stone, their attraction was instant and resistance seemed futile for Sydney. Once Trenton laid eyes on Sydney he was determined to have her even if it meant tracking her down to her hometown.  

I liked the fact that The Emperor was not just based on the horizontal mambo but explored the depth of the main characters relationship. It was a very nice safe story, in which you journey with the main characters and see them learn how to trust and mature in each scrolling down of the page.
