Claudia Martin long ago realized that
her school for girls would probably be the focus of her
life. Things change when Joseph, Marquess of Attingsborough
considers sending his illegitimate daughter to Claudia’s
school. They are drawn to each other and it doesn’t take
long for love to grow between them. Joseph is engaged to
marry, an arrangement worked out by his father and one he
agreed to before he came to love Claudia. Now, he’s faced
with marriage to a woman he is beginning to realize he
doesn’t like and will probably never love. But sometimes
fate steps in to keep two soul mates together.
I love Mary Balogh’s regency romances.
She never skimps on the emotions. Neither Claudia nor Joseph
are perfect characters but they fit together and that keeps
the reader on edge waiting for the moment when they get the
ending they deserve. Definitely a book for lovers of
regency, Simply Perfect is perfect for those
looking for a great “feel good” book. |
