daughter of a vineyard owner is deeply in love with the man
she wants to marry, but her father has his own plans for
her. Will she be able to break free of the traditions of
her people? Or will she be forced to marry a man she barely
knows? At her wedding feast, a special guest lends a hand
in this early first century story.
When The Light Was Still New is a sweet
romance filled with flowing imagery. It was written in
first person format, and that threw me off at first, but it
reads well. I enjoyed this book very much, but it was the
ending I liked best.
